New Guy from Jersey

Grumpy : I've taken the advice you gave me over on Digital Corvettes
and joined the Performance Garage. Thanks for the invite.
I hope this is the right spot for the intro. I'm Larry,
1stvtt1981. I'm 67 and this is my first foray into Corvettes.
Always wanted one but never got around to it, I guess the
timing was never right. I've raced quite a few different cars
over the years . I'm working on the Corvette and driving it
all the time.
I'm retired so I have a little time. What I don't have is a garage
with a lift. That makes it difficult to do some of the work
needed, not a complaint, just an observation.
I just read over your thread from August with the pics of
your garage. Outstanding is all I can say. I've had two
over the years but now I'm down to a two-car.
I miss the big barns, great place to keep junk.
Thanks again for the invite.. Larry 1stvtt1981

welcome to the site!, its nice to have other old gezeers here to keep the younger guys rational

:ugeek: Hey Grumpy, I read over the literature you sent and printed out the Alarm Troubleshooting Tips. It'll take me some time to get thru it, but I will get to it. I have the Chevy shop manuals that pertain to the 81. The guy I bought the car from gave them to me, with the car.
Sometimes its just finding the parts to check them out. I'll have to locate the sensor and also the
toggle for the valet. I didn't even know it had one
As always, thanks for the comeback and the info.
By the way, I'm enjoying the site. I cruise it all the time and read most all the posts.
