New Guy in MS

Hello everyone,
Been following Grumpy around from other forums. Really glad to find this place here. It's like one stop shopping for knowledge and tips. Just retired from USMC and settled in MS. I've got a 66c10 with a small block 350 (in work) and I built the wife a 57 with a SBC 283. Here are some pics of the two at a show & shine and at the beach in Pcola while I was still on active duty. The 57 has a 283 with 305HO heads, a mild cam and triple deuce carbs. Auto trans (4 speed in the future) and alot of chrome  . I'll post up more pics of that one when I find them somewhere on my laptop.

The 66 had a 283 and a saginaw 4 speed in it. It's in the process of getting a GM 290hp crate motor and a muncie 4 speed. It has a 4.5 inch static drop in the front and about 5.5 in the back. This was my daily driver until I decided to take it off the road and update some things that were bugging me. :D

More to follow!

Welcome to the forum, glad you found us!

That a couple of nice looking trucks!!! Please give us alittle more details
about them ..... are the motors basically stock or wildly modified, would
be a good place to start.

yes welcome to the forum, and BTW I love working on those older 1950-70 muscle cars and TRI-FIVES, and older trucks, and the trucks tend to be especially easy to access components, so I can readily see why your choice in vehicles was made
they as SO! much easier to work on than the newer stuff!
when I was in college, I had a friend with a fiberglass tip forward front hood and fender 1957 chevy truck (similar to the linked picture below) with a stroked dodge 440 and torque flight from a wrecked 69-70 dodge
