Hello Grumpy and all wrench heads, I'm just a old Mississippi country boy with alot of projects hanging over my head and not wanting to get rid of any of them, retired chevy mud bogger, and love too go fast with street cars especially sleepers, I have two Chevy short wheel base step sides a 82 just purchased for $700 only needs motor, 83 same. Me and wife have 95 Z28 6 speed, rebuilt motor and power train with her help. New project with a 82 cutlass, thinking about going in with 454 that I'm building.

trucks are very easy big block swap candidates,
as theres generally much more engine bay room available,
and less clearance issues to deal with,
you also tend to have more robust drive train components in trucks,
like the 12 bolt, ford 9" or dana 60 differential.
and theres room for the larger transmission,s
