Hey guys new here. Grumpy just told me about this place today. I hope it really turns out to be what he is invisioning here.
I own an 87 Vette in various states of assembly. Maybe one day it will run. I have built a handful of cars over the years and like the project aspect of it. I like cutting, grinding and welding. Hope to help where I can.

WELCOME TO THE DATA BASE

GLAD TO HAVE YOU ABOARD!
LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR ENGINE SWAP & WELDING INFO

Welcome!

Let's see what you've got!

IT's not much to look at at the moment but it's getting close I should have it running next month.

Here's the car prior to tearing it back apart. It was a supercharged 350 with a stealthram, long tubes and 3" exhaust in it's last incarnation.

You guys with your vettes make me jelous!
I had a '63 split window coupe here on Maui from '68 to '73, when I met the girl of my dreams and we needed a down payment for a house lot. We sold everything we had between us except a '70 jeep CJ5 that kept us mobile for quite a few years while we built our house and raised 4 kids. Now into the "classic" trucks and cars, but I do miss my 'vette. I can carry grandkids in the back seat of the hot rodded '55 chevy, so it sort of is my "virtual" Corvette....
I sure do admire the level of engineering that has gone into the current 'vettes, and the technical expertise that makes the upgrades I see on the older vettes possible.

If any of you have ever visited Maui and remember the road to the top of the mountain (Haleakala Crater) and the road to Lahaina, myself and a couple of my freinds used to terrorize those roads (and ourselves) at 2-3 am on weeknights during those years, when there was NOBODY else out on those roads....

This was my Christmas card photo one year during those years:
