Hi, Im new member here have a 86 vette been working on for few yrs now, well prob 15 lol. Have had mostly older 60s early 70s cars still trying to learn these computer cars. 14717117_10202537597796908_1762903495128613689_n.jpg and enjoy all cars, and Gator football!
 
welcome to the forum!

theres NOTHING on the c4 corvette that you can,t easily diagnose ,
and isolate test and correct,once you have a shop manual
with a few basic tools, a shop manual and logic.

just a question?
did you paint the wheels to match the car? or did you purchase it that way?
the reason I ask is that I've never seen anyone else go that route,and its a rather unique look,
I can,t really decide if I would ever do something similar, but it certainly sets the car a unique look!
it certainly looks like an improvement over corvettes with degraded original wheels where the clear coating on the aluminum wheels is coming off in sections,
(theres hundreds of guys with those wheels)

painting the wheels to match the body has long been done, on older hot rods and t-buckets etc.
I've just never seen it on a c4 vette

I seem to recall the 1989 Corvette Challange race series Vettes were all painted white including the wheels.

Yes I totally gutted the car and went to glass with it 2 yrs ago the wheels which are latr c4 the clear was coming off and my painter said lets paint them i figd wut the heck, only paint, dont like it ill change em. sanded for 3 days it seems to get smooth to his satisfaction painted with same paint but he said headded something to paint to harden it>

Diidnt even get to ride with me cause i took it to get interior done right after
