Lars from Sweden (Europe) here, first of all thanks for a great site!
I have a Plymouth Satellite Sebring -73 400/727 and my wife has a Chevy Impala SS -67 350/350 (E85).
Daily drivers are Suburban 5.3 -00, Volvo 945 turbo -96 and Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 -03 (gas)
and, hmmm, a couple of other project cars as well.

Currently rebuilding the front end on the Suburban and next project is installing a Weiand 177 blower on the Impala, which oddly never have been in the USA, made in Canada for export to Sweden.

I at one time owned a 1968 impalla with a 427 engine, and th400 and I was always regretting I sold it after it was gone
but I purchased it as a non-running car, from a small car lot,
the cam needed replacing, I got the car for $400,
and once it was running again I had a guy offer me $1500, so it went down the street about 5 days after Id purchased the car,
(it took me that long to pull and rebuild the engine in the mid 1970s)
and it cost me less than about $330, in replacement parts,
if I remember, correctly... to dissemble, inspect, and clean out the engine,
and replace the bearings, rings, cam,lifters and gaskets,timing chain and gears,
back then, so I doubled my cash investment for a few days work
