I have a 88 monte with a hurt motor i’m In the process of swapping out pulled the 355 out of the 85 monte going over it for next season picked up a posie unit for my 89 Caprice always changing things its my drug

What does going over it entail???

Ck the rods and mains run a bore gage down the major thrust ck ring gaps new valve springs and replace anything that may cause issues later on
