Hello everyone, Trying to get some advice on building a 283 in my 53 chevy five window. I am also rebuilding a 66 Chevelle SS396 and a 69 Camaro. I have never owned a 283. Thanks

the 283 is an engine with a few quirks that youll need to know about,
some depend on the year it was manufactured

I don,t know your budget but these heads were specifically designed,
to maximize power potential in the smaller bore SBC engines
like the 283

let me know the heads, youll likely to use and If you want to maximize the engines power or stick to near stock
theres certainly a great deal that can be accomplish if the budget allows
let us know what your willing to do,and what your comfortable doing.
