If you have any sort of Health issues you do not belong in a race car or going down a dragstrip.

Have one guy in the Vette world with a well documented history of Epileptic seizures as a mechanic in South Florida.
Dragstrip runs.
Kill everyone around & track will get sued shut down.

some of the listed info requested, if used to disqualify an applicant would be ridiculously restrictive,
example
Id bet the vast majority of people over 40 have had or have high blood pressure and many take meds too control it.

It has to be filled out by a licensed Medical doctor & then sent to NHRA officals that hold a review board Grumpy.
Been like that since 1994 or 1996 I recall.

I am 49 in good shape & most guys in their 40's in bad shape.
Always been physical active like you. Mechanic at night my early years doing another day job.
A diesel mechanic once again for a living.

Heart attack potential a major issue.
Drug & alcohol abuse an issue.
Mental illness an issue.
Epileptic seizure brain shuts down a HUGE ISSUE.
All NO. Don't race.

Think Heart pills OK.

I have a NHRA (Sportsman) comp license. Years ago you had to have a medial check for the license. A few years ago NHRA changed the requirements. If you have a Sportsman license you no longer have to do the medical form... if you have a Professional license you still have to do the medical form.
