Not getting oil to my fuel pump push rod area?

I primed my motor today with the oil I'm going to break it in with. I got oil flow to all 16 rocker arms. I didn't get any oil where the fuel pump push rod go's. I DO NOT have the fuel pump or the fuel pump push rod installed yet. Is this normal without having either installed?

I'm not going to put the fuel pump on the motor until after I put it in the car. I bought THIS fuel pump. I may need to rotate the bottom of the pump to change the inlet and outlet positions. Or buy one of THESE bottom feed kits.

Thanks, NYH1!

the fuel pump is powered by a cam lobe eccentric on the cam acting on the fuel pump push rod and lever and that contact point is oiled from oil draining back from the valve train and oil mist thrown by the rotating components, its a low pressure contact area and youll do fine just installing the fuel pump
while your worrying about your new billet steel roller cam tearing up your old soft distributor gear, you might want to think about swapping to a bronze tip fuel pump push-rod to prevent excessive wear on that expensive billet steel cam core on the front end ,

if your really concerned?, comp cams makes a roller tip fuel pump push rod and an indexing pin combo that will reduce the friction, but a good electric fuel pump and return style fuel pressure regulator seems like a better option

Thanks grumpy. I thought that was how the fuel pump push rod got oiled, was 100% sure though. I'm going to use the above posted mechanical fuel pump. My set up is pretty mild and I really don't need an electrical fuel pump. Plus I don't have the extra money to do an electric fuel pump set up. ;)
