Now that it's cooler at nights

The A/C is off until next May. So now the bedroom windows are open at night, the bugs and the frogs are increasingly more quite as the season progresses, but on the other hand the deer and the red fox are driving me insane. I can't get to sleep they're snorting and screaming up a storm each and every night, I open the windows and throw stuff and they show me their asses and walk away. I have one of those compressed air horns - the kids don't care too much for them at 2 to 4am . . . . . . . That works, but the deer are like the cats when they jump up on the bed at night playing around, I Kick them in the head, they run off, but come back in a few minutes and try again. In the morning I can see dozens of spots in the grass where the deer lay down in the evening just 30 to 50 ft. from the perimeter.
Back a few years ago Raven, my 15 year old black Lab/PitBull would floss her teeth with a fox's tail - which by the way is the only part of the fox she wouldn't eat and she would crawl up to a group of deer and try to bite their hind legs or even their ass, my wife and I both saw Raven get kicked back a few feet on several occasions. Nowadays Raven's more into the forbidden spot on the family room sofa, twitching and barking in her sleep. I imagine she's dreaming of that family size bag of Chips Ahoy somebody didn't put away while we were out.
I imagine after I spend this season's requisite small fortune on Deer-B-Gone and a few rounds with some other nasty stuff deployed by my garden sprayer, oh and my Scare Crows with some seasoned clothes I'll win the battle but not the war. At some point this winter my wife will let me know it's ok to close the windows in our bedroom at night.
