Just bought myself, mailorder, a new 3/8 ratchet. Looks good though the made in Taiwan made me raise an eyebrow. Well, it is supposed to have a lifetime warranty.

Anyway. what is a good rule of thumb for degrees per click for a ratchet wrench? Or is this quite standard except for some special models?

theres no real standard, on the degrees between clicks on ratchets ,some are 6 degrees, some 5 or 7.5 degrees , even 12 degrees per click,some even have a cam action roller cam lock and move any amount, and re-lock when the direction and load changes
