Old Mechanic

Hello group members. I have been a full time mechanic since 1981. I semi retired and still maintain many older vehicles in my small workshop. I am also a technical trainer for mechanical apprentices . I use Dynosim 5 and now 6 , to create from scratch, ignition and fuel maps on the few odd ball engines I convert to full engine management.
 
welcome too the web site.. we can sure use your experience and help,
we value the old geezers like I am's advice,thoughts and guidance,
as without any doubt you've seen your share of problems and solutions in the time spent!

That first poster i lived by for 35 years and all was true. I loved Snap-On and OTC and other tool trucks that came by the shops.
I paid $15,000.00 for 15 acres of land and a house in 1975. In 2010 I bought a tool box that cost $17,000.00 and gave it away to my son.
The chemicals/oils/grease and stuff now has gien me skin cancers that refuse to leave when treated in any way.
And yes, Momma wasn't happy when the kids said something they heard from me when I missed what I was hitting and it wound up being a finger or the back of my hand.

Aint life GREAT when you remember the GOOD OLE Days ---but don't want to make THEM mistakes again?
