Pellet Rifle

My house happens to be the pigeon community center of my neighborhood. I tried a live trap to no avail, considered poison grain but didn't want to kill off other critters, and finally decided a pellet rifle would be the solution. I live in suburbia and pellet rifles are not allowed BUT I bought a .177 Gamo Whisper and have to say it is a heck of a gun. Once sighted in with the serviceable scope, it has been deadly accurate to around 40 yards  Nothing like a down home pigeon shoot `to liven up a hot summer day!

many people refer to pigeons as " feathered rats" that crap on everything in sight,
some people put these in the rafters and have good results scaring off pigeons

theres an old joke about a couple beautiful white marble statues in the park that look extremely life like of a nude girl and guy that seem to be looking at each other always wanting to be together , an angel looks down one day and says I think Ill give them the gift of life for an hour so they can experience their fondest wish, , he waves his arm and both stature come to life, the angel says, you've got only a few minutes go enjoy your selfs, both the girl and guy rush off into the woods and a few seconds latter theres a lot off giggling heard, the angel figures theres no harm in getting a peak....he finds the guy holding a crap covered pigeon, and the girl saying, ok, .................................................

........................................now Ill hold one while you crap on his head!
