"One test is worth a thousand expert opinions."
Its been out since 2011.
Entire Corvette Forum Blew it off.
It was $650 then..
Out of budget then.

Digital Corvetre Building your own ended in 2012.

That is actually a pretty good drop. If you drop .1 second from every 100 pounds of weight reduction, then this would
be equivalent to 800 - 1000 pounds. I know, apples and oranges, but...... still not bad.

Driving home from work so its hard to type.
The 700 R4 was geareed for non drag race use.
Move a Heavy Chevy Caprice with just 180 HP

It would be nice to lessen the huge rpm drop from 1st to 2nd.
My car is heavy, and I still have a 305 based engine (334).
So I will probably leave it alone.

The 3.06 1st gear in the 700R4 of my 87 Corvette works nice with the 2.73 gears .

Also my Suburban has the 4L60E With same 3.06 1st gears.
Helps move 6,000 lbs easy.
When towing It still. moves effortless.

Its been a long time but the guys did a computer analysis and 3.06 1st works OK till 550 HP .

They never will be able to build an Overdrive 4-speed as durable for same low cost as a 700 R4.

Others out there but extreme cash required .

Same with my truck and it has 3.73s. But the TransAm has 4.10s.
Which gives me (3.06 x 4.10) = 12.546.
