For Gods sake you better of be there in person.
I knew it was your 200R4 numerous cores to begin with.

I have a real good memory.
Bob had a pro Built Race Turbo 400 transmission. Take 800 -1000 HP all day long what he had.
You talked him into Overdrive.

I could only understand about 1/2 of what you said above, is there a problem with this decision?

Nobody talked me into a overdrive tranny it just makes sense to have a lower first gear and economy on the freeway. I though about TH 400, TH 350 with 2.75 first gear, 700 R4, but chose the 200 4R due to a lower first gear and 0.67 overdrive. My BulletNova will cruise at 70 mph running about 2200 rpms with a 200 R4. That is what talked me into it, not one person could do it, if I want it I will do it! That’s all there is to it! Rick has 3-200 R4 cores in his garage, and my hot rod buddy is going to school me on how to build it with literature from CK Performance.

One more point! Rick is my friend, I see him as very much like my Dad. Your constant put downs toward him are like putting my Dad down and he was a fine man as is Rick. He is very intelligent as was my Dad, so let’s keep your put downs to yourself please!

I thought about it some, and decided to put a couple coats of paint on the tool tray and the perimeter of the table top. I had a rattle can of VHT Wrinkle Plus Black, so it may be as wrinkled as an ole lady’s face, but it has some color on the top area!

And FYI, Joe’s All Purpose hand cleaner does wonders when you have rattle can paint your hands! It is available at Oriellys Auto Parts, Rick may have it at parts store also, it’s about 4-5 bucks for the bottle shown!

I added about 3 inches to the leaf spring shackles to lift the rear end some. I was successful in raising it about 2 inches, here is a pic when I was done.

It would cost too much to get a new pump, I found a 20 gallon McGard for less than a new pump, so guess what? Yes Busterrm has s new air compressor! Here it is!

I was and still am not a fan of longer shackles, it add a bit more degree of side flex to the spring. I like to add a block between the spring and perch instead.
Or better yet, replace the perch with a taller one.
Another trick I use is to add ladder bars with either a shackle or slot on the front of the bar that is attached to the frame. This allows the springs, to cycle
the axle back without binding. You can also fine tune the pinion angle also. It still provides a smooth ride.

I do like the stance you have too! All my cars were sitting a bit higher than stock, but Level. Never cared for the airshock jacked up look.
Here is a picture of one of the cars my wife and I owned when we were younger.

Bob,

Is there an engine and trans in the car? Just wondering since you are building an engine/trans for the car now.

You REALLY needed a new compressor, I was the old one !!!
