Procharged Gto

Well whatever works is OK by me.

And never say anything is mundane when it comes to AUTO repair and take PRIDE in what you do as all cannot do it or as well. Mundane to me is sipping Jack and Coke or a small jar of Peach moonshine for a lazy day of nothing.
If you love your job and what you do, you will never WORK a day in your life--until you hit your hand with the hammer!!

So I left off with wiring in the fans. We now have 4 fans. 2 pushers and 2 pullers. I have wired them in pairs as parallel. Then to control it with low and high speeds I built a small bracket and mounted 3 of these spal fan relays to it..

Then with 3 relays and 2 sets of fan power wires I wired everything up just like this..

I hid the wiring as best I could and instead of fuses these fans are protected by a fuse link. The relays are mounted just in front of the ground cable and under the front plastic cover in the below picture..

The car is all back together and ready to get strapped down to the dyno for some tuning work and to find out what all this is worth..

I will do my best to get video of a pull on the dyno. This LS2 sounds amazing at 10psi.

I know space is tight, but please reconsider the fuse links as a fire under hood would be bad.

Well I mean it is not uncommon to have to retighten the straps along the tuning process as we jerk the car back and forth for all its worth, if that's what you mean. I am adding ignition timing and correcting fueling and adding more timing and tightening the blower belt and correcting fueling and finding out what this car is worth. I am empowered by a correctly calibrated set of knock sensors. So I know when I have gone too far before I go too far. Here is another pull on the dyno after a few more pulls and adjustments..

No, I read that the operator can change the HP/TQ curve by how tight they strap the car down. That
leaving a little bit of slack will keep from influencing the results.

whats the f/a ratio and exhaust back pressure, and plenum boost pressure at every 1000 rpm?

I will only be so brave with the high compression motor with tight ring end gap clearances so I kept it in the mid to high 11's. As for boost by RPM goes It starts surprisingly low like by 2k-2500rpm the MAP can already be at 115-120kpa and the level of boost steadily climbs in a very similar fashion as the HP curve above and peaks between 10 and 11psi. And no exhaust back pressure monitoring here. This bad boy is Supercharged.

I thought you owned your own shop? The pic you posted of your new Dyno install suggested that.
Am I missing something?

This post hurt. I mean it cut deep. And Thank You Unforgiven. Really. I started my LLC. I am Second Shift Performance. My website is here: https://www.secondshiftperformance.com/

It needs work and I am just starting and doing everything myself. At some point I will pay someone to go over my website and polish it up for me. I don't even have a facility yet. And I am still The skill at VetteXperts.
