Push some coolant

The Vertex Magneto is Exotic.
As far as I know I am the only person using it on the Street today.

I installed the Flex-A-Lite #1818 7-Blade Mechanical Flex Fan on the Grand Prix tonight Grumpy.
Just test fired it 20 minutes ago.
I had the drivers door open on the Grand Prix & my head hanging out watching as I hit the ignition key.
The Olds 425 fired right off & I was immediate blasted in the face with cool night time air.
The New #1818 Fan is ineradicable.
It puts out at least 50 times more air flow than the Flex-A-Lite #398 Cyclone 2,500 CFM rated electric fan previous used.
The same #398 Fan is on the 1987 C4 Corvette.....Electric fans just suck.

I revved the engine up hitting the gas & it redlined effortless like no Fan is on the engine still.
Likely because a true 470 ft/lbs torque is there with the 425 Olds.

Wife came out & started yelling....she was putting the kids to bed.
Open exhaust still.
LOL

I have to make a New You Tube video....show how much air that 1818 7-blade fan is kicking out at idle 650-700 rpms & then revving it up hard.
Just Holy Crap....
Like a Semi Truck Diesel Engine Fan.....

When did they come out with the 7 blade versions?
I have a stack of these from 20+ years ago.
They do work great and move a lot of air, but I wouldn't want
to get my fingers near one while rotating - spinning razor blades!

Only The Ford Mustang Guys 1964-67 have used.
1 Pontiac GTO guy with a 1968.
Many Mopar Guys.
Chevy & Mopar never got along.
Enemy's .

Pontiac guys get along with Mopar Guys.

I have no fear.
I had my left hand in front of the 1818 fan while 425 Olds running .
Tries and suck my hand and arm in.
A Holy Sheet Awesome Fan
