Hi all,

My name is Frank and I'm excited to have joined this forum. I stumbled on it yesterday while doing a bit of camshaft research for a new project I'm involved with.

I'm a long time hobbyist and have owned many cars over the years, mostly of GM heritage. The new project I'm involved with is my brother in law's 56 Chevy. This is a long time dream car for him and we're finally of the age where he has the discretionary funds to build it right. This will be the most comprehensive project I have ever undertaken and I will be leading the build for him. He's going the restomod route and has already sprung (no pun intended) for a new Roadster Shop chassis. We're now trying to put together the drive train combo but it will be a supercharged LS with 6 speed. This is all new territory for me in terms of working with EFI and engjne electronics. I'm sure I will have a million questions and I hope to tap the knowledge on this site for help.

My current toy is a 66 Mustang Fastback with a 427 small block backed by a Tremec 5 speed that I finished a couple years ago. Lots of fun for the weekend. I'll try to post a photo soon.

I'm looking forward getting to know others on this site. Thanks.

welcome too the web site!
posting pictures of your car(s) would be nice?

Welcome from Texas! Does it have motor mounts already set up and what are they? If its set up with chevy mounts, World Products has a Motown LS block that will go anywhere a SBC or a BBC will fit. Its a hybrid block, has SBC bottom end and will take LS heads and intake. You can either go with standard ignition with a distributor or a LS ignition with coil packs. Just a FYI!
