So you just bought your brand new 2015 Chevy Corvette and parked it near your house, now it could be a good time to think about it's protection.

Nonetheless you are planning to keep it nice and clean in a garage, in a parking lot or near your house, the good quality car cover will guarantee
the maximum level of protection to it.

First of all there 2 types of car covers: the Indoor car covers & the Outdoor ones;

The Outdoor car covers are made to be breathable, water and mildew resistant, designed to protect your ride even in the most harsh conditions.
They do their job perfectly and shield your Corvette from bird and tree dropping, UV rays and minor damages. Our outdoor covers bestseller is the
Autobody Armor Custom Car Cover by Coverking. Durable and highly resistant.

The Indoor car covers are designed to protect your vehicle from dust and mildew. They are soft and won't leave a scratch on even the most delicate
paint surface. The Satin Stretch Indoor Custom Car Cover is a perfect choice, which will guarantee the ultimate indoor protection to your ride.
Breathable and soft.

Here are several easy steps how to define the best cover for your Corvette:

1. First of all let's choose the type of car cover you need, using the table below:

HAVING A HIGH AMP (160-220 amp) QUALITY ALTERNATOR AND A DECENT BATTERY, WITH GOOD CLEAN CABLE CONNECTIONS HELPS IMMENSELY

car covers that are moisture resistant with a soft inner surface, are generally a good idea inside a shop too help prevent scratches on the paint and dust, and a water resistant breathable and padded version, that allows moisture to quickly escape the car surface is a great help there! but , if you store a car for weeks or months ,they also tend to let you forget that mice and mold can ruin a cars interior if there not a constant transfer of air flow and it also prevents you seeing into the car to notice whats going on for weeks at a time , making it easy to ignore or forget.
they also make getting to a battery charger a P.I.T.A. if you tend to leave the cover on during the week and only drive the car on week ends.
placing an open coffee can on the cars floor with a few moth balls and a few bounce/drier sheets can reduce the tendency for mice to damage the cars interior, as they are not fond of the odor, placing the car up on 4 12 ton rated jack stands and removing the battery will also tend to limit potential problems. adding fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank helps.
now I will point out a basic FLAW in the use of a car cover thats probably not going to be discussed, and thats the fact that.....

Jealous or vindictive
ASSHOLES seem to be attracted to any decent car with a car cover.

when I lived in Miami Florida, I had a really top quality car cover for my corvette that even back in the early 1990s a top quality outdoor car cover cost over $200 and on the rare occasions I pulled the car out of the garage , and left it outside , un-attended for even a single night, with the car cover on, I had several instances of local scum either trying to steal the car cover or eventually one bastard who found it was pad locked with a steel cable, slash it to shreds
yeah!
HE GOT CAUGHT and ARRESTED , but never paid a dime even with a court
judgement (you rarely get reimbursed from low life criminals even if they are caught)

This actually a good topic Grumpy.
I have a real nice car cover for the TA.
And a middle quality car cover for the Corvette.
Both given to me a Christmas time several years ago.
Been too long I don't recall who made them.
Both still in good shape.
Living in the country rural area Mice are the headaches .

You should have popped a few shots at the Scum Grumpy.
