Rear Sway Bar Question

I have an 80 Camaro that did not come with a factory rear sway bar. My frame has 2 holes on each side of the frame that look like the right location for a sway bar bracket. Can someone tell me what size bolts to use on those frame holes? It is hard to tell if those holes are threaded but I hope they are. I assume I can use them to install an aftermarket sway bar. Also, what sway bar diameter was factory? Thanks for the help. Kevin

I have the factory books on these, my favorite cars! The two in the middle I bought brand new in the winter of 1980.
Im swamped but Im happy to help you later tonight when things settle down for me. those hole are threaded if its a Z frame, no bars on the Berlinetta, or CA and 6 cylinder Cameros. The bars were 2 sizes, one was 7/8” I have to look up the other.

Ok, just looked at my notes and receipts from the GM parts counter. I upgraded to the 1979/80 Firebird W6 before that so the correct Chevy Z is a little bit beefier over the F-41 option. Its 1 1/8 or 31mm up front, out back its 9/16” note, if you get a 3/4” you may experience oversteer. There are some other factors but you didn’t say what your serial number is. Shocks, springs and tire size play into bar sizes if you changed them From stock.
