reluctor wheel

Grumpy, Do I need the crankshaft reluctor wheel since I am putting a stroker assembly in my L31 block? I think the reluctor wheel is to operate the crank knock sensor but not sure. I wont be using the sensor anyway. Thanks Dusty

the reluctor wheel tells the ignition when to fire, its got zip/ziltch/nothing to do with the knock sensor, if your using a standard distributor, and a carburetor vs coil pack, ignition and mpfi, its basically non-functioning

Thanks for clearing that up, I will hang the reluctor wheel on the wall incase someone needs one later.
