Step 1
Here is how to reset that annoying change oil light on a 1990 to 1996 model Corvette.
When you have had an oil change or otherwise here is how to reset the light. When you see this message on the Trip Monitor, turn the ignition switch on but don't start the engine. push the "ENG MET" button on trip monitor one time.

Step 2
Press "ENG MET" button one more time within five seconds. Within five seconds, press and hold the "RANGE" button (1990-1994) or the Guages button on 1995 vettes. You will see the light start to flash.

When the light stops flashing the change oil message light has been reset
