Saying hello

Been lurking here for a while seems there are forums all over, but finding a respectable one with knowledgable people is hard to find. Seems to me the people here will help and more importantly have no problem telling others about their mistakes. I am just trying to keep my old iron on the street. I have a 1967 RS Camaro 327 275 hp, 4 speed and 1977 International Scout Traveler 345, automatic. There will be many questions asked as I am still learning, a lot.

adios,
Duly

welcome to the website!
we welcome questions, and the oppertunity to help out!
and in many cases ,posting clear pictures would also be helpful,
in providing correct answers

You have to post some pics of your ride......it's mandatory to be a full member ! heheheh!!!;)

That is no joke this thread is worthless without pictures! but welcome duly to the forum!

I say you buy a dart SHP block and build a small block 400 for your Camaro. There no replacement for displacement!

There is One Very Viable Replacement Bob.
A Single Or Twin Turbo V8 Engine Build..

None of us in the Group have had the Funds to Proceed down that path.
There is a lot involved that costs much extra $$$$.
Its been a long time now but the Pontiac guys have taken the 1980 & 1981 Single Turbo Trans Am 301 V8 engines and Drag Raced them Real Hard.
Down to 11's in the late 1990's into 2003.
Old High Performance Pontiac magazine covered.
Its not online those articles.
The 301 was considered the biggest POS back in the day.
What those guys did exact remains a Mystery.
Did it without todays High Tech Hardware .
