Seriously, weather stripping question.

All I ever see is the 5 oz or smaller tubes of weather stripping adhesive. It's a pita screwing with small tubes when you're going around a large car with long runs of stripping. Has anybody seen caulk gun size tubes anywhere? I looked on line and it's mentioned but not shown with ordering numbers.

Second question: Does anybody sell generic profile, rope or tube type weather stripping? I can't see all theses One off cars having custom made weather stripping

Check out Steele Rubber Inc.
I do believe they can custom make weather stripping.

They do Carry hard to find weather stripping and front and rear glass window channel rubber for Vintage Pontiacs.

I guess I didn't look too hard. Thank you Grumpy, already ordered from that list.

Thanks Brian, but I was trying to avoid the custom stuff I'm not building a number 1 show car. Years ago I bought a 300 ft coil of replacement weather stripping at a public auction. I used it on everything, even around the house. It was a little big but it worked better than you could imagine. Until it would break in sometimes it was a little hard to close something's.

You can also find some seals at McMaster-Carr. I purchased some from them recently.
