Diesel Mechanic School Bus working out Ok.

the further the project is advanced the better the results look!

Nice work. I like the inboard fuel tank and location. I never liked the side saddle tanks chevy's had for many years. Are you relocating the fuel door to the back also, or are you bringing the filler tube up thru the bed.

My bad... I just relooked at your latest pic and seen the filler tube coming up thru the bed.

I'w been playing with idea that i do extended cab for my truck
I have one rotten cab and found suburban doors
If i shorten the bed and suburban doors and weld back half of that rotten cab to my truck
So then i have extended cab with short back doors and short bed
What you gentlemens think, does it look right

take accurate measurement of the proposed components, then,
do an accurate too scale, photo shop version, to get a visual idea on how it may look,
well before you start physical work on the physical components,
prior proper planing goes a long way toward reducing problems

I have to see a sketch on paper.
Just maybe.
Suburban was built on an extra wheelbase frame chassis.
Be easier to just buy a Clean Suburban.

Looks good either way. But I have to ask, what do you need more of ...... interior space or bed space?

I guess it wouldn't make a difference either way if it's just about, can you do it for the fun !
