Hello and thank you.
Let me give you some details. I have a bone stock 327 the engine is runs smoothly and is healthy. I do have a few oil leaks from engine and tranny pan. I'm going to pull the engine and tranny do a complete gasket kit change and oil pump and clean and paint the block. My question is should I replace the camshaft. I've had this engine about 3 years now about don't know much on it history. If it's suggested to change it I wouldn't want anything radical just stock please help with suggestions thanks!

if your happy with the current engine, I,d take out the cam, carefully inspect the cam,and lifters for wear then reinstall it, in the engine, making 100% sure each individual lifter went back into its ORIGINAL LOCATION,on its original cam lobe, and continue to use the current cam, PROVIDED it showed no excessive wear,.. after all why spend the money if you don,t have too?
on the other hand swapping it for a mild CRANE cam like a 114122 and new lifters would boost power 20 plus hp without any bad side effects on most stock 327 engines, and your then sure the cam and lifters are new and in good condition.
Id also suggest a new timing chain set and use of moly assembly lube

I,ve used this cam and recommended this cam dozens of times, when rebuilding basically stock engines where the object was to build a basically stock 327-350 for daily drivers , it provides a few extra hp but runs like a stock cam
