"HEY GRUMPYVETTE? Ive got a 327 sbc in a 57 chevy with a muncie 4 speed, and I want to swap to a tunnel ram intake ,mostly for looks but want to make the car look and sound bad , any suggestions on cam to use?"

one reason a properly port matched tunnel ram intake flows efficiently is a strait path to the intake valve, in the cylinder head from the plenum
I doubt you can find many long term hot rod guys that have NOt at least thought about swapping to a tunnel ram or some multi carb or injected system, but you can,t just throw a tunnel ram on a low compression 327 without considering the drive train ,compression, ignition, headers, tire diam. cars weight trans gearing , piston to valve clearance, spring bind, etc.
and effect the larger cam will have.
a tunnel ram intakes designed to operate in the 4000-8000rpm power band on most sbc engines. a cam thats designed to operate in that same power band will require a minimum of 10.5:1 compression,

back in the day...1960-1970s

a common combo that kicked butt was
a car under 3200 lbs with a muncie 4 speed,
ported fuelie heads
11.0:1-11.5:1 compression
two 450 holleys
a vertex magneto or similar good ignition,
open long tube headers
26"-28" diam tires (slicks help)
a 4.11:1-4.56:1 rear gear
a CRANE 110921 cam

youll want to launch at about 4000rpm and shift at about 6700rpm with a 327, but ID also point out the same basic combo on a larger 383-406 works even better but youll be shifting at a lower 6300rpm-6400rpm with the larger displacement because the heads run out of flow capacity far sooner
a few minutes reading thru a few links can save you a great deal of time and money
