Taking A Chance For Quadrajet Help

The 3-prong sensor that goes in the intake manifold is usually for the Cold Engine Green Light that comes on cold morning startups.
Water temp hits 113-120 F Green dash light goes off.
Hot Engine Light comes on 235-240 F.
Fullsized Pontiac Feature only.
Full sized Pontiac had lots of neat features Firebird, Trans Ams, And GTO never had, actually stripped down on Nice Aesthetic touches.
Recall 1968 Pontiac owners stating they had the same Green cold engine light feature as my 63 Gp has.
Started in 1959 ended ? 1968, 69, 70 ?
Found a NOS 3-prong coolant temp switch on Ebay. Think paid $15 for it 2 years ago.

Remember you like painting.
I used to watch Bob Ross on WTTW Chicago Public TV with the wife when we met.
She used to paint also.
Bought her everything one Christmas to get going again.
It's still in my basement untouched since 2011.
Bob Ross Issue.
She writes books now.
Doing ok. Only internet famous.

Internet fame can open doors too!
Bob Ross LOL! He’s still on PBS everyday, talks like Mr. Rogers - they can lower your blood pressure on a bad day.
He’s really not a great painter. After he died and ever since only a couple of his hundreds of painting have sold and not for very much. He had the technique down, his color palette sucked and subject matter too simplistic. PBS had another guy painting just like him. Both were entertaining. Fact: Bob was so cheap, to save money on hair cuts he had his hair permed and he just kept it teased to maintain that Afro.

1970 year 7040262, used a throttle cable all Pontiac lineup why the issue.
I dont have a 1968 Year Pontiac Service manual not in.my collection yet.
FSM GM per model year shows all details.

I just don’t get those people. They keep the sold stuff on the site without the prices listed. I think they would sell the treads separate from the screw if it was possible!

Somethings are just way too much and have been there for years, other things, like the partial cars are calling me in my sleep. Has me very tempted some days!
Grumpy would love that ‘64 GTO they had. I missed it by just less than an hour according to them.
The White GP is $2450, same for the ‘73 GP SJ. The ‘65 GTO is $1950

They want $75 for an QJet, then want another $75 to ship it and wrap it service! I just bought a divorced choke from them. After they say “We don’t make anything off of shipping charges” they wanted $20 to send a 2 oz 2”X2” part. I told them to put it in a USPS Express box for less than $8 then. It’s 2 day priority - their way would be a week.
That woman they have answering their phone must be a wife of someone that means something there. She’s a real “A”hole when I call.

Their motors - short blocks are crap yet they want crazy prices. Every one of them is bored out and worn out again, they all have cracks but they tell you it won’t effect performance. Who wants a run of the mill block that’s cracked for $2000? Heads are the same way.

Brian, I want a junk yard and make a couple hundred grand a year milking wallets!

Frank's is the biggest around with Pontiac Parts used.
Working with a salvage yard. Buyer beware likely to have faults.
But if you need it.
I hear ya on prices.
People have discovered how well Pontiac was built new , drove out, handled, the classic styling.
For A long time very few wanted Chevrolet was it and Dodge Mopar from Drag Racing Legacy.
Illinois it was Street Racing all over this state.
St. Louis to Chicago Northside.
