TBucket Engine Project (Dart SHP)

Thanks Rick. Sounds like everything is coming together. I'm happy for you.
Thanks!

Did we mention the low resistance distributor center button for the rotor before?
It is a solid piece of copper. Zero ohms. Meaning no voltage drop there to heat up and melt the cap.
I've looked and don't find such a part.

Do you have a part number? I'm using the MSD 8360 Pro Billet Ready to Run distributor.

I did find this, but it's listed for HEI.

Rick, you were looking for a possible vacuum leak just before the transmission fiasco happened.
I need to step back and take another look at that possibility.

You know I have three complete 200-4R transmissions, plus lots of spare parts. Maybe you want me to ship one ??? :)

(My plan is a T56... o_O. It must be really cool to have a 6-speed) I bet you do have 3 trannies. I had one spare that went with the TT.

Yes, it’s running great, he let drive it last time I was up there. “Damn Mick, frighten shit outta me!”

You should have been in the passenger seat!!!!!!!!

I didn't think you were going to launch with your foot on the brake from a standing start. There is no way
the tires are going to hook up. I was hoping my words would be understood to slow down to first gear and
then easy into WOT over a couple of seconds.

Live and learn I say !!!

I though you meant a standing start, won’t do again for sure. When mine is up and running you can drive it!

If you said a rolling start I would have done what you outlined, 2 different schools of thought. Sorry Rick!

Well if you need them! Lol Buckets surprise everybody on the first ride. You can’t tell them so they don’t think you are exaggerating.

When they are Really Fast your eyeballs suck into your eyesockets at 100-140 mph.
