THE WEBSITE MAY BE DOWN WHILE REPAIRS ARE MADE,
Im forced to make a few changes as the server is changing a great deal
 
well I was forced to make a couple dozen changes, hopefully the vast majority will prove to be positive for the site,and yes they admin guys are continuing to make changes and additions that make continue for several more days




comments welcome
 
What is going on exactly?
php update? phpbb update? mysql update?
what about the chat? seem like the idea was abandonned :(

Good job on doing all this nasty stuff, i know it suck to get that done.
 
I was basically forced to make changes even if I was not planing on it, sorry for the lapse in service it was un- avoidable
just for your info the original web server I used informed me that they were tripling the charges next month due to the web site size expanding and my site was being erased if I didn,t cough up the increase in the next two weeks, so I was forced to change service providers
while I may not be nearly a computer geek, I understand the very basics and knew that was unwarranted
 
yeah moving host(server provider) was the best move. i know it suck to move a site but when it has to be done it has to be done.
No problem with the downtime, it was really short actually :)
 
Well mathd I'm glad you you think it was short , but I was starting to get a twitch in my neck, shoulder, arm and everywhere else in between !!! :roll:
 
if its not one thing its another, we had a huge thunderstorm yesterday with hail and 60 mph plus wind and lightning struck several times close to the house, resulting in a couple phones failing the internet out and no dial tone for 12 hours.
luckily we just got most of that repaired

BTW your not alone in feeling a bit lost without the site or internet access, my kids say they were amazed that I survived being away from the computer that long!

Ahh, someday i should count how many time a day i check this website for new post :).
I said the downtime was short(because i know what it involve in doing that) but it do not mean that i did not find the time long without the site online :)

I just finished "color" sanding my clear coat i will be doing a compound this afternoon, and i have to fix a small leak on the carb fuel bowl. May just need to torque the screw a little(30 lb/in) and then i will get started into tuning that carburator and ignition :)
