tko 600 bell housing question
has anyone installed a TKO 600 transmission on a chevy V8 with blow proof bell housing like a lakewood, design, if so what was the part number on the bell housing and clutch and flywheel you used, it seems that they have changed part numbers at some point and the bell housing I used to order is not the same

keep in mind a SFI SCATTER SHIELD to protect your feet is almost mandatory, on a high performance engine combo
a stock bell housing provides almost zero protection if a flywheel or clutch comes apart at high rpms, and getting your feet cut off in the process is not unheard of as a result

My Belair uses: (Internal balanced 496)

Quicktime SFI p/n RM-6022 bellhousing w/motor plate

Ram steel internal bal 427 flywheel model 1501 (168 tooth)

Ram Powergrip HD clutch set 98764HD 11" that's listed for up to 600'lbs


All quality pieces..............

Bellhousing also allows use of stock type clutch arm / release bearing. (I have hydraulic release bearing/master cyl)

HAVE you considered a HYDRAULIC clutch linkage, it should avoid the clearance issues
