Trying To Decide On Which Camshaft To Use On 383 C4

Hi to you alle.

Building an New engine with New parts.
I am working on a c4 1985 SBC 383 TPI.
The engine i all new parts. not yet assembled
block GM-10066034
Edelbrock 5089 64cc heads, comp cams beehive springs (26918) Retainers, locks and seats.
PRW 1.6 Pro Series Billet Aluminum and Stud Girdles.
Eagle B13054E 030 rotary assembly with KB 18cc hypopistons and SIR rods and cast crank.
King full bearing set and exstra Speed Pro set.
Canton Racing Circle Track Wet Sump Oil Pans 11-120M
PRW water pump.
Melling M155HV oilpump
Hedman ELITE Headers; 1-5/8" 68448 + 3" to 2.5" unknown brand muffler system with x pipe
ARP Fastener on rods, heads, hedders, etc
3.54 dana 36.
2800 stall converter on a 700r4.

I had originally decided to use a flat tape camshaft, but after talking to countless engine oil suppliers in our country i regaring zddp and oil components. I am affraid using the camshaft. Comp Cams Xtreme Fuel Injection; XFI™ 260XFI H13 , High Energy Hydraulic Lifters and Magnum Pushrods.

Was at Summit Racing in Atlanta and bought Comp cams Retrofit linkbars 853 - 16 lifters.
they did not have a suitable camshaft in stock the day I was there so I traveled without. to continue my vacation in Florida and experience Hurricane Dorian.

Looking at som camshaft:
Comp cams recomended : COMP Cams Xtreme Fuel Injected Camshafts 12-466-8
Wathing on Crower.
But 00482S and 00483S is my bet.

Open to to suggestions.

And is 0.57 to 0.58 to hige lift?
125 lbs seat @1.800
337 lbs open @ 1.230

Mesuring lobe to rod clerance now.
I am doing mocup on valve to pistons clerance with clay after.

obviously you need to verify check all valve train and engine clearances,
during the assembly process

another option (I think maybe very valid here)

heres the hydraulic roller cam I used in my c4 383 sbc corvette,
but I have a 3.73:1 rear gear and 3200 stall converter and a bit more compression

Just cheked clerance rod to camshaft in the block, ther is no cambearings in the block. Testet with a long and straght metal rod. Rods are hiting the metal rod. Going to mesure exact but bye eye ca 0,05"

If you grind the rods.can sandbelt be uesd? Ore must i be cooeld by water? Ore is it poseble to take it in stages? Woried If temerature change metallurgical strength or cure ofthe rods or is this is not a problem.
Using Eagel I beam SIR rods.

reading the provided links , provided above, will help a lot,
yes the block must be clearanced to use most connecting rods,
and a small base circle cam is frequently required
