we could use a few hundred new members!

There needs to be Networking .
More on that Later.
Get my own Website up soon.
Gawkers welcome.

If one could race a Hellcat and beat it would be Fantastic .
All would show up.
My Prediction this morning.
Street Race gives an Edge.
Hard to understand for most unless you have done it many times prior like I have & Grumpy too.

. . . . .
Its the economy why Grumpys has not been more sucessful.

I wouldn't exactly say that. We (I think it's appropriate to say "We") don't have visitor/member retention because - let's face it, there's not a lot of activity on this forum on a daily basis (it's a "Catch 22). Success to date is largely due to Grumpy and occasionally another member here will reply to someone needing help but a member at another forum and reference with a link back here. But there's little to hold visitors or any enticement to keep new members participating after initial sign-up.
We all know that DC has search engine recognition and half their membership comes from those trying to escape the "Ass-holes" that dominate at CF.
Many times I sign in and check out who's here and there's nobody here. If someone new posts needing help and it's a ghost town here for a day or more, that's not helping anyone. Activity brings activity, activity comes from more participants and with more people interacting makes this site more interesting and therefore more desire to help and perhaps even donate. I know many here are against sponsorships, I understand what that brings to the table. Anyone that requires working capital recognizes the necessary evil that sometimes follow. Eliminating that avenue just means thinking outside the box. Perhaps start gathering links on an independent parts store's web site or links on many of these up and coming auto parts suppliers, auto salvage yards ect. Every little effort to further promote this site's existence will lead to more and more search engine recognition "If you build it, they will come!"

PS: I offer help on this matter but others here should be supportive and not stay silent - not if this Forum means anything to you.

Or . . . . . Every member contribute just $5/month to participate and have access to Grumpy's immensely large archive of information.

I don't Richard.
Not many cars get completed.
Or they take years.
I finally gathered enough New and used to complete my projects.
No easy feat.

Racing Sells.
What I know.

a constant influx of new members and projects is almost always going to be helpful,
we could use a few hundred new members!
any suggestions?
any problems that need to be addressed?
any support or ideas that might be helpful?
Id like to improve the website but a different perspective, view,
from several people is always helpful
Reposted Just as a reminder why this conversation started.

I don't have a Good answer tonight Richard.

Networking is like everyone with thier own Webpage Linking up with another.
Have Dozens in the group.

Another way to promote and grow for all.

sOWe don't have a Flagship Street Race Car with You Tube Video Documented Proof of it Racing a Hellcat and SRT Viper and Winning.
Dragstrip and Real Street Race .
Nothing TV Staged.
One of our own.
Same goes for all of Digital Corvette Forum.
Its where we are really at in 2015 & 2016.
Ricks T-bucket is not up to Real Balls out Drag Race Duty.
Speeds of 160-190 mph Required .
No Fear. Race and Win.
I am the Only One that can do it Richard.
My 1970-1/2 Trans Am Ram Air 4 4-speed.
None others stand a chance of Beating Hellcats and SRT Vipers Street Racing.

Ask for Timeslips & You Tube Video proof.
There is none.
The Old guard hates the Topic.
But its real life Proof.

No reason for Professional racers to come around.
No Purse money to Win.

Entire future depends upon one Racing Hellcats and winning Homebuilt.
