I need a good source for doors and windows seals. I've had some really bad stuff in the past that was hard to get straight or had no memory to get back to straight after months of being coiled up. When some original parts are gone it can be difficult to get the correct placement if the makers don't supply some good drawings.
I had some poor fitting issues with LMR materials. The '68 has bad door window seals, rag top front seal, door and trunk rubber.

The '68 Catalina is harder to find parts for because its not mainstream Musclecar parts Chevy.

STEELE INC RUBBER PARTS. EXCELLENT .
AMES PERFORMANCE BY YOU RICHARD .

Hard to find parts? I'm going to have to get used to hearing that. In the past 20 years, Mecum only ever sold/had one '68 Cat convertible. It was a de accession from the Big inventory clearance the GM Heritage Museum had in 2009. B/J had just 2 during this same time period.

I've spent triple the amount 4 years back on a '69 Chevy Caprice ragtop with a 400 bbc that didn't drive or pull anything close to this Poncho and the Chevy had a totally - 100% brand new full suspension right down to very expensive Michelin touring tires! Strangely I really like this car and even more strange is that my wife , who never ever makes a good comment about any car I've owned, really liked the comfortable and smooth ride last night. Go figure!
