what do I do now??

Grumpy? what do I do now?? my 1996 corvette just started coughing and died, when I tried to start it this afternoon, It was always a bit hard to start, but lately its become much more difficult, I have only owned the car a couple months, I suppose I need a tune-up, but I really don,t know where to start on my 1996 corvette project

as usual youll want to start by pulling the trouble codes, and youll generally want to replace the spark plugs and get a multi-meter to check the sensors,injector resistance and a fuel pressure gauge to verify the fuel pressure in the fuel rail,youll want to buy a factory shop manual, and it would be very helpful to replace the fuel and air filters.
a logical isolate and test procedure with the correct year shop manual would be far faster and bring about the correct answers far easier than random guess work and random parts replacement almost all the time
yeah theres a bunch of related links but without specific details on what your dealing with its not easy to point to the cause so post your test findings as you go!and we can narrow down the potential causes, but its always a good idea to have a shop manual for your specific year corvette and a multi meter and fuel pressure gauge,as a start point
