Ive got two really nice 22 lr rifles to choose from, a marlin 39A and a ruger stainless 22 and I,m just curious which rifle you guys would select to go squirrel hunting with, and why?
both are equipped with iron receiver, or what most guys call peep sights

ruger make awesome 22 too the semi-auto version (ruger 10/22) wich look the same as the one you posted are the one most people are buying.
The marlin is bolt action, bolt action usually is some more accurate but the ruger is a darn great rifle and its stainless.
Last marlin 22lr i had was totally innacurate all my other big caliber and small caliber rifle was much much more accurate, probably because it was a old overused pos.
