will this hurt my head gaskets?

My rocker arms will be here Thursday. I can't order my push rods until I get my rocker arms mocked up so I can check my set up to see which length push rods I'll need. My question is, can I mount a head onto my block with one of the head gaskets that I'm going to use? I won't torque it down to spec. Just enough so I can check to make sure I have the correct geometry. I have a Comp Cams adjustable push rod and their light weight springs and a valve spring compressor tool so I have everything I need to check them properly.

Will doing this hurt the head gasket at all? I only ordered one set to use to assemble my motor.

Thanks, NYH1!

it won,t hurt a thing , Ive done it hundreds of times, temporarily clamping dry head gaskets, on a clean dry block and heads, during the mock-up process and only using a bit of clamping stress not the full torque values will not cause any problems if done carefully
