I seem to recall a commercial on TV about a service company that repairs stone chips invisibly. Has anyone any personal experience with windshield repairs?

Loctite sells the windshield stone repair kit.

I tried that Loctite repair kit on the vette I sold last winter. If there was a way to put higher pressure behind the fluid, it may have worked. Instead, I think it looked about 50% better - not enough.

Stone chip repairs - 3 or less, (at Safelite) run about $168 at your place. If you are insured at one of Safelites contract companies the total out of pocket cost is only $50. Safelite only asks you who you insure with to get what is called "insured out of pocket discount" State Farm is one of them. Again, there isn't any proof of insurance needed.

The guy from Safelite just left, all happy and grinning from ear to ear. The stone chip just disappeared, $50 well spent!
