Wires connected to the starter

I cannot make out clearly from the AIM or the service manual and I'm having a difficult time finding through searches.
I removed the starter on my 72 350 and didn't get back to quick enough to remember where the wires go.
I have the positive cable and the second largest cable in the harness (red) going to the large copper post on the solenoid (I know this is correct).
There is a small black wire from this harness going to the ground (the bell housing/block) - I know this is correct.
Now the problem: there are 2 remaining problems/wires. I can describe only by size as both are without a discernible color - one thin/small wire and the other about 50% thicker (both have the old style braided insulation. Looking at the solenoid wire connection end, which of these 2 wire go where? Any body have any photos?

Thanks for your help guys!

if you have a multi meter and someone to turn the ignition key it should be a no brainer

The fat 10gauge wire is purple colored stock.
For the starter motor crank enable relay/ solenoid.
The smaller 14 gauge wire is for the ignition points resistance wire - ballast resistor bypass during engine. startup only.

Your 1972 350 sbc Vette had breaker point ignition stock.
Was not ordered with rare 1st generation Unitized HEI distributor small distributor cap style.
Different from what was used on 67-69 L88 427BBC & 1969 PONTIAC RAM AIR 5 400.

Thanks,
I don't have a battery for this car yet - otherwise i could have used the multi-meter (and I'm working by my self). When I installed the starter and wiring second I couldn't see the "S" terminal. I have to take the starter back out to make that connection that's what started the confusion.
