A. have a flywheel that fits your clutch but not your engine machined by welding the bolt holes shut having new holes drilled and the OD cut and a ring gear applied or. 500$ for the flywheel! Expensive! Who knows what the machine time is.

B. Have a custom flywheel made from a billet. Having to machine in everything.

BTW: Grumpy I think the wheel is in your area of the world. If I do this mind PMing me if you might want to take on the challenge. Hell shouldnt be a challenge its just labor time. a good 5 or 6 hours at least. It's all lathe work except welding up the holes. That would take a skilled welder and a lot of care with heat Id imagine purge and wet rags to keep the aluminum from going too soft. I can do the welding but still no gots a lathe or a mill.

Well A or B both are new. I am guessing you mean dont weld the old one up but to be honest there isnt much welding as the engine I have has holes just a bit further out than the ones that came with it. Slotting is actually an option but I feel better having em welded up.

Flywheel with any known flaws are time bombs waiting to explode.
New right billet part is the only way to go.
