obviously some people hate the idea you might like older cars/trucks
and love the power trip, being on a H.O.A, provides , the idea they can force you to drive what they approve of,
,forcing you to drive newer vehicles, they approve of.
here's a great example of some people forcing their views,
on theres for no there reason then then the have the ability to do so.
if you are into cars, its smart to live in a rural area, preferably with-out a H.O.A.
and preferably in an area where you can build a 4-6 car or larger garage
I know all too well what the guys dealing with, theres always P.I.T.A. nosy neighbors
if you live on less than a 1/2 ACRE lot and have a H.O.A.
I learned early about neighbors who were jerks,
and planed where I wanted to retire,
I purchased 5 acres ,
and made monthly payments for 7 years,
when I could barely afford to, starting at age 20,
in a rural area as a result
THATS AN EXAMPLE OF PLANING AHEAD AND HAVING GOALS!
I made lots of MISTAKES IN MY LIFE, but planing where I wanted to retire and buying the property 40 years earlier was one of the few smart moves
see thats why I scrimped and saved to buy a 5 acre plot way out in the boondocks too retire on and build a shop on, I could park 5 18 wheeler trucks out behind the shop for a few months and I doubt anyone would even notice, thats why most of my local friends also choose to live out in the boondocks rather than some gated community with a MRS CRAVITZ type neighbor every 100 feet next door reporting your every movement to some community overlord, who gets absolute thrills out of posting fines and calling the local cops if the lawns not mowed promptly every Thursday.. I had far too many nosy neighbors in Miami to want too live that way
