it should be obvious that a trailer should be used rather than a tow strap when towing your car,, and if you dyno test your car thats an excellent reason as well to have well anchored tow hooks on all four corners of your car WELDED AND BOLTED TO THE FRAME, ESPECIALLY if thats an easy option, for you to install ,because its amazing how often youll use those tow and tie down hooks or loops.
but even on a car thats seldom on a trailer the car needs to be secured in place. on a trailer when its towed to prevent the weight shifting, and you never know when your car will break down or need to be pulled some place.
most cars don,t have a easy access location to hook up a tow strap ...or firmly lock the car in place on a trailer and randomly hooking straps or hooks to suspension components is asking for damaged parts,
yet another excellent reason to own a welder

buy at least two (fours going to be much better) and bolt and weld them to the frame for easy access and security on a trailer transport, and emergency towing
if its your trailer have a dozen strong cargo loops welded into the trailer frame

on most more modern cars theres no easy to access place to hook a tow strap
so if you intend to trailer and race any car it makes a great deal of sense to customize or bolt or weld on substantial loops or rings too the lower frame where a tow strap can be securely clipped in place to tow or secure the car too a trailer
