in many cases a quick check with a multi meter will show you a burnt resistor, loose connections, bad soldering or a defective fuse is the source of dash light failures, the reason most dash repair jobs cost so much is very few people are not, very reluctant to tear apart a corvette dash assembly to find out what's required, to repair it if it stops working.have a 1988 C4 that I had to replace the wiring harness and before installing. I made sure all joints were soldered and all wires were good. When finished installing I did not have my instrument cluster. I do have all the idiot light, blinkers, high beams. They bright and dim as they are supposed too. I have rechecked all the grounds to make sure I had not missed any. I have checked connections with multimeter.
My question is does anyone have a guide of the wiring or know where I can get one. I think if I had a guide to tell me where the power is supposed to be coming from and all the fusible links.
Also if you have any advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your time
