2013 Ford C Max Hybrid

I worked on a Ford C Max Hybrid. Replaced the starting battery.
I thought it would drive like any other Hybrid..slow Prius.
To my suprise it pulled like a small V8.

Electric motor(s) kicking in and almost seamless smooth synchronized timing of the tiny gas engine and electric.

Have you driven a Ford C-Max Grumpy ?
Ford is ahead on this area.

I am starting to think the C8 Corvette may indeed be a Hybrid.
I ignored all prior rumors.

Why all the past secrecy and advertising techniques GM has used.

no but I,ve driven one of the tesla performance electric cars and they have the torque similar to the old 440 six pack cudas
theres no question that a properly set up electric car can provide impressive short term acceleration, the problem so far is two fold,
(other than not being priced competitively of course)
(1)you can,t jump into something like a tesla performance car and simply drive as far as you choose too and get the "fuel tank/battery"
recharged in the time and at a similar cost of filling your gas tank and as easily, as theres no where near the support stations,
and with proper frequent maintenance current internal combustion engine cars can be expected to drive 150K-200K,
without major expensive components like engines and transmissions and differential needing to be replaced.
(2) at some point the batterys wear out and the cost of replacing them every 5-7 years,
which I hear is expected life span, on the electrical components ,runs into many thousands of dollars effectively making any gas savings a joke

496-572 ci BBC & Race Engine Pontiac 455 RAIV.

They are catching up though.
