NONE are as safe and dependable as a non-folding full tang knife design,
and almost all folding blades depend on a pivot point rivet or pin and the handle strength,
all seem to be subject to damage through torsional stress, impact stress, or wear.
theres not a single folding blade knife design I've seen Id trust,
of I was limited to a single blade in a survival situation
now for convenience and daily carry there are some decent options
I can't see how any adult male gets by without having ready access,
to a pocket size folder, or small belt carry blade, I use one frequently and feel its essential
like your wallet, ID cards, cell phone, assorted car/home keys,
and credit cards and having a pen, have become.
