This certainly dont look good. I really need help on this and soon as I am still on the fence about sending a heavy bloick and main bearing panel out to tokyo 600 miles away.

You Need A Deep Reach Sunnen Dial Bore Gauge that is 4 ' Feet Long along with the Micrometer Bench Standard.
Reads down to .0001" or 1/10,000 ths of an inch.

The Block needs its Line bore checked.
The Main bearing wear shows abnormal wear.
Likely needs to be Align Honed machined.

Need to take that Lotus block to Tokyo.

In Japan you have Mitoyo measuring instruments.

They will have the right equipment to check The Line bore condition.

Got a guy with the tools. Going to try to get with him tomorrow. I just want to add that i am looking at the oiling system for the pistons and wondering if it can be improved.

Ok.... now I gotta go look its 11:30 at night and when I pulled the shell I didnt look but I also didnt clean it. Im going now! Your the second person to say this!

Be sure to look for signs of Main bearing movement and Girdle cap movement.
Prevailing issue on all High Output engines.
See any the Block must be Align Honed.
