Dana 60 - all the same?

Besides the mounting brackets for shocks, suspension, and hubs (axles), is a rear from a truck the same as for cars? I know Mopar made cars with Dana 60 rears. Every time I see a Dana rear for sale it's from a Dodge, GM or Ford. Is there any difference between manufactures other than bolt...
