one of my friends has hunted with the same long bow for decades,
the manufacturer is long out of business, and he recently had a string fail.
so hes saying he can't find a decent bow string?
I pointed out there are several custom bow string makers,
at least 5-7 materials nearly ideal for making bow strings,
and the fact the bow string is hardly the highest tech item, thats too difficult to make yourself.
and if you frequently coat the string with bees wax it lasts a good deal longer in use
