heres a very brief bit of observation on chronographs
if your into hand loading ammo in a serious level youll want to own a quality chronograph that allows you to test and accurately compare your ammos consistency and velocity,
(these measure bullet velocity if your not familiar) they are useful to develop accurate hand loads
while these work
(at least untill you screw it up or it gets dropped or rained on)
most of my friends bought these due to low price and I don,t think a single one lasted two years MAX, ID SAY PASS THIS UP, as Ive seen these stop working in under a few months

heres the pact, chronograph, I have and while it works, its far from ideal, or even fully functional most of the time, its not what Id suggest as really useful , as its very dependent on having fairly consistent outside light conditions, and it frequently fails to produce accurate readings , its better than the CHRONY, but not much, your better off bitting the bullet and spending the extra cash for the oehler in my opinion

heres two chronographs linked below ,that work, a couple friends have these and both seem to function flawlessly, theres zero question the oehler is much better quality.

at roughtly $600 it sure ain,t dirt cheap but as with most things you tend to get what you pay for and these oehlers are very dependable, consistent and accurate so they are worth a good deal more than the cheap crap that basically fails in under a year or two if it lasts that long
